Courtney Kincaid, CAE, IOM

vice president - strategic initiatives

Courtney Kincaid joined the Society in 2006 as the communications specialist. She has since served as the membership manager, membership and volunteer manager, and senior manager - member services, director - membership and engagement before being named VP - Strategic Initiatives in 2018.

Kincaid earned her bachelor’s in journalism and sociology from Indiana University in 2005, and her master’s in public affairs with a focus in nonprofit management from IUPUI’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs in 2013. In 2014, she completed coursework to earn her IOM recognition from the US Chamber’s Institute for Organizational Management, which provides training in the areas of leadership, advocacy, finance, membership, emerging technologies, among others. In 2017, she earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential. 

Kincaid has served on the Indiana Society of Association Executives’ board of directors as well as the professional development committee, where she served as chair. She was awarded the Indiana Society of Association Executives Rising Star Award in 2011. 

Her professional affiliations include the Indiana Society of Association Executives as well as the American Society of Association Executives.
