INCPAS 2020 CPE Catalog is Going Virtual — All Offerings Still Count for Live CPE

May 29, 2020

Our team was very much looking forward to seeing you in person this year, but—as with many organizations—we are adapting our events to be virtual for the remainder of the year.

This transition will help you, our speakers and staff know what to expect and how to plan accordingly in a time when so much is up in the air.

Many of you count on us for continuing education, especially in a reporting year, so we are working hard to transition our in-person seminars and conferences to an easy-to-use virtual format, while maintaining the high-quality programming you expect from INCPAS.

As we move INCPAS seminars and conferences from in-person to virtual events, they will be denoted with the words “VIRTUAL LIVE” in the title of the event listing of the online course catalog. All of these events still count for live CPE.

All course changes are now reflected in our online catalog. You can also download this spreadsheet. If you were registered for an in-person course and now the new date doesn't work for you, we are happy to cancel or change your registration without a fee.

We know you probably have more questions about Virtual Live events—you can find out more on our Virtual Live FAQs page.

And as always, our member services team is here to serve you. Whether you need to speak with a Learning Concierge for guidance on what courses to take in 2020 or simply need help navigating your first virtual event, we are happy to help! You can contact us at (317) 726-5000 or info@incpas.org.

For the most up-to-date list of webinars, virtual live seminars and conferences, be sure to check out our online catalog at incpas.org/CPE.

I signed up for a live class in October at the INCPAS facilities - is it too early to determine whether or not this class will be virtual?- or can I expect it to be live as it reads in the INCPAS catalog?

I prefer in person to virtual or webinars especially if over 2 hours.  Audio quality is variable.

Also, I enjoyed Gary's fall update sessions

We very much appreciate your input and can't wait to see you in person again! However, we are trying to budget, plan and prepare for the unknown. After much deliberation, we feel planning for virtual events is the right course of action and will give our members the best experience. We are easily able to change course should the situation surrounding COVID-19 change substantially, and we will absolutely consider reinstating some live courses. Again, thank you for sharing your concerns and I hope very much to see everyone in person again soon!

It is only June 2 and I hope you reconsider.
