Meet the Profession Night

In response to the pipeline issues facing the CPA profession, the Indiana CPA Society will host Meet the Profession Night on Thursday, January 25, 2024.

This networking event will provide high school and college students the opportunity to meet and network with you and your organization. They will gain insights into what your organization is looking for in potential candidates and learn more about job/internship opportunities and career awareness events within your organization.

Space is limited so reserve your space now. Unlike a traditional career fair, booths will not be set-up, however attendees are welcome to bring materials that will help showcase their organization. Each registration includes two tickets.

100% Membership Organizations receive a free registration as a benefit of having 100% of their full-time CPA employees registered as INCPAS members.

How do I check to see if we are a 100% Membership Organization?

Will we have a booth to display our materials?
Not exactly, this event will not be set-up as a traditional career fair. To facilitate and encourage networking, each organization will have a cocktail table and can display their materials.

Can we bring our pop-up banner?
Sure. If you’d like to bring a banner, you are welcome to. The tables that will be set-up will be 2 foot cocktail tables, so not a full 6–8-foot table.

What schools will be in attendance?
While we are marketing this event to all INCPAS high school and college student members, it’s likely the majority of the attendees will be from Central Indiana. Prior to the event, we’ll send all employers a list of the schools represented.

Will we have access to the students resumes?
Yes, students are invited to share their resumes. Additionally, upon registering for Meet the Profession Night, students will receive a link to upload their resume that will be shared electronically with all the employers attending.

What is the appropriate attire for this event?
Business casual is suggested.
