The CPA profession, more so than many others, has been extraordinarily slow in closing the race gap in our ranks (see AICPA Trends Report below). The Society has prioritized diversity and inclusion efforts since we added it to our strategic plan in 2007.
Recent events have prompted even more of us as organizations and individuals to evaluate our roles in society and how we can incorporate additional diversity and inclusion efforts into our plans.
