Calvin Harris, CPA, is a seasoned, experienced executive, having just served as the CFO of Baltimore City Community College, along with prior roles at non-profits such as the United Nations Foundation, NeighborWorks America, Legal Services Corporation, and Aeras Global TB Vaccine Foundation. Calvin is a Certified Public Accountant, a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta and has served as an auditor, controller, forensic accountant, consultant, and CFO for several organizations over a 25-year career.

Karen Hill is director of talent acquisition and staffing with Katz, Sapper & Miller. She has been with the firm since 1993. In her role, Karen leads all campus and experienced hire efforts. Her responsibilities include understanding firm needs and market dynamics; setting strategies; developing key relationships with faculty, staff, and students; and screening for the best and brightest applicants. Karen is recognized as a collaborative leader who is adept at engaging many across the firm in our recruiting and hiring processes.

Erland Porter, CPA –
Thrivent
Erland Porter, CPA, MBA, has been a member of the Indiana CPA Society since 2008, is the Chair of the INCPAS Board of Directors. He has chaired the Diversity Advisory Council and has been involved with Game On: CPAs in Action and the INCPAS Scholars program. He received the INCPAS Emerging Leaders Award in 2010 and Chairman’s Award in 2012. 

After graduating from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2004 with his undergraduate degree in accounting and then in 2005 with his MBA, he worked for Ernst & Young, Ingram Micro (formerly Brightpoint, Inc.) and Stanley Black & Decker. Currently, Erland is a financial associate with Thrivent.
