The INCPAS Scholars program is a free, year-long experience designed to help Indiana high school students explore accounting, college and careers as a CPA. Along the way, you’ll gain a mentor, make friends and take part in unforgettable opportunities that can shape your future.
Since the program began, more than 306 students have participated and gone on to succeed in college, internships, and professional careers.

Why Join?
Here’s what you can expect as an INCPAS Scholar:
One-on-One Mentorship: Be matched with a CPA or business professional who will support you, answer your questions and help you plan your next steps.
College Night: Meet university reps and financial aid experts in a Q&A session you can attend with your family.
Campus Tours: Take day trips to Indiana University and Purdue University to explore campus life and hear from current students about their programs. (School absences are coordinated for you.)
Corporate Visits: Go behind the scenes at top Indiana companies to see what working in accounting and business really looks like. (School absences are coordinated for you.)
Exclusive Events: Attend optional INCPAS events to connect with CPAs, recruiters and business leaders.
Academic & Career Boosts: Receive a $500 academic gift at successful completion of the program.
Get a recommendation letter for college and scholarship applications.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet ALL of the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be a high school student enrolled in an Indiana high school or home school program for the 2025–26 school year.
- Must be an Indiana resident and able to participate in monthly meetings in the Indianapolis-area.
- Must have demonstrated academic success (with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale).
- Must have an interest in accounting and/or business.
- Must be a student leader.
Application Details
The deadline to apply for the 2026–2027 school year is August 7, 2026.

The Scholars program is powered by professionals and organizations who believe in building the next generation of CPAs.
