A Year-Long Look At The Profession

The INCPAS Scholars program is a career awareness and mentoring program for underrepresented high school students. Through a wide array of monthly career and college-prep events, Indiana students gain important skills for their future and establish long-lasting relationships with respected CPAs in Indiana. Currently, Scholars programs are in Central Indiana and South Bend.

Applications for the 2021–22 Scholars program year are closed. Applications for the 2022–23 program will open in the fall and must be submitted by June 15, 2022. See eligibility and submission details.

Students participate in monthly events such as visits to CPA firms, businesses employing CPAs and Indiana colleges. Additionally, students meet with personal shoppers to obtain a professional outfit and participate in an etiquette dinner.

In ten years, we have built an active pipeline of 216 high school and college students and graduates, with 63% of alumni in college majoring in accounting/business.

By coordinating the passion and individual goals from partnering firms, companies and schools, the Society is able to channel this energy into a truly impactful program that is producing CPAs and CPA Candidates.

The Scholars program would not be possible without supporters. If you'd like to contribute, you can do so online today!
