Growing Accounting Talent in Indiana
From early career awareness to supporting CPA candidates pursuing the Exam, the Indiana CPA Educational Foundation plays a critical role in increasing, supporting and sustaining a strong accounting talent pipeline across Indiana.
Foundation-backed initiatives allow us to provide robust programming options and financial support to students that help drive more students into the profession.
Some of these initiatives include:
- CPA Week, our twice-yearly program that brings CPAs into high school classrooms across the state.
- INCPAS Scholars program, which provides an in-depth, year-long experience to high school students, introducing Indiana’s future workforce to opportunities in accounting.
- Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP), a free weeklong summer intensive in partnership with NABA, Inc., which invites high school students onto college campuses across the state to learn more about accounting, finance and business.
- Regular student events like our Meet the Profession: Networking Night to further support accounting and business students as they launch their careers.
- Financial scholarships for college students in accounting and related degree programs who plan to pursue the CPA license.
- CPA Exam scholarships, awarded in partnership with the Greater Indianapolis chapter of NABA, Inc., and ALPFA-Indianapolis, to ease the financial burden of Exam prep.
INCPAS is also proud to offer ongoing support and resources for CPA candidates as well as engaging events and programming to help professionals connect to peers and grow within the CPA profession.
All of these initiatives connect to INCPAS’ larger workforce development efforts and advocacy efforts to support a thriving accounting pipeline, business community and economic landscape across Indiana.
