There’s nothing like face-to-face time. Created by CPAs for CPAs, in-person events and conferences deliver timely, tailored knowledge you need when you need it. With multiple tracks, sessions and speakers, in-person engagements are a good fit for professionals at any level in any area of practice. In-person events may or may not be simulcasted.

Virtual Live & Simulcast
A virtual live or simulcast event is scheduled by INCPAS using our instructors and will be completely virtual or simulcast (i.e., broadcast virtually in real-time) of a live in-person event. Both speaker and attendee interact with each other virtually using a chat feature and/or through a camera and microphone on a virtual platform.

A video feed with a PowerPoint presentation and audio.
What You’ll Need
A device that has an Internet browser (desktop, laptop or tablet) and a reliable Internet connection to login into the online platform. You can listen to audio through your device or use a dial-in number and listen on your phone. We will send you information to make sure your system is up-to-date and compatible with the online platform requirements.
How You’ll Be Monitored
Checkpoints throughout the program
Per NASBA, registrants must submit three (3) checkpoints per one (1) CPE hour (50-minutes) for credit.
Webinar
A webinar is a virtual event scheduled with an outside CPE provider vetted by INCPAS. Both speaker and attendee attend virtually and interact with each other using a chat feature and/or through a camera and microphone on a virtual platform.

Self-Study
Self-study is a self-paced format that consists of ungraded quizzes, a graded final exam, and either an enhanced online course with interactive slides and the option to read or listen to recorded case studies OR a downloadable PDF manual to read at your own pace.

FAQs
How do I earn CPE credit from attending a VIRTUAL LIVE event/webinar?
During the VIRTUAL LIVE event, there will be a series of polling questions or keywords that will pop up on your screen. When you answer these polling questions or submit all the keywords at the end of the VIRTUAL LIVE event, we are able to track your attendance for the duration of the VIRTUAL LIVE event to calculate your CPE credit. You must answer 3 polling questions/keywords per credit hour to receive full credit. Partial credit is only given after the first full hour is completed.
If the event is VIRTUAL LIVE, how will I receive my materials?
When you register, your confirmation will include a link to your materials and instructions on how to attend the VIRTUAL LIVE event/webinar, which will be posted 7 days prior to the event date. A reminder will be sent 3 days out. If you don’t receive your messages, you may also access your materials via My Account or by contacting Member Services at (317) 726-5000.
When and how will I receive my CPE attendance letter?
You will receive your attendance certificate for a VIRTUAL LIVE event/webinar within two weeks of the event via email. After that time, you can also access your attendance letter by logging in to the member portal. Click on CPE History. CPE attendance letters (CPE Certificates) can be printed by selecting your course and clicking the “Print icon” at the of your CPE Credit History.
How am I supposed to meet my CPE requirements if your events are all virtual?
All events in our catalog count as LIVE CPE. The ways in which our VIRTUAL LIVE events/webinars are delivered meet the necessary requirements to be considered LIVE CPE.
Do VIRTUAL LIVE events/webinars count as LIVE CPE or Self-Study?
VIRTUAL LIVE events/webinars count for LIVE CPE. They DO NOT count as Self-Study. These events are scheduled at a specific date and time and the instructors are available to answer your questions in real-time, just as if you were sitting in a classroom setting.
