Meet INCPAS’ Student Ambassadors: Accounting Students Leading on Campus

By March 18, 2026No Comments

We are proud to support some of the best student ambassadors and leaders around. These accounting students serve as the voice of the accounting profession on their college campuses. These motivated accounting students serve as trusted peer leaders, connecting classmates with resources, opportunities, and experiences that support both academic success and early career exploration.

On their campuses, student ambassadors are often the first point of contact for students curious about accounting or looking to take the next step. They host events, share timely information, and help demystify what an accounting career really looks like today. Beyond the classroom, ambassadors also create engaging, student-to-student content on the student Instagram account, offering an authentic look at campus life, career paths, and professional growth.

The INCPAS Student Ambassador program connects passionate accounting students with leadership opportunities, professional exposure and meaningful connections to the accounting community. In the process, ambassadors strengthen their own skills while helping others navigate college and career decisions with greater confidence. Their work supports a stronger, more informed pipeline into the profession which benefits students, educators, employers, and the CPA community across Indiana.

So who are these up-and-coming stars of the accounting world? Let’s meet them.

Real Talk: What They Wish They’d Known About Majoring in Accounting

We asked our ambassadors what advice they’d give to first-year accounting students. Here’s what they had to say:

Don’t psych yourself out.

“It’s a lot less intimidating than you make it out in your head … stay away from all the stereotypes that typically come with accounting.” — Drew

Know your timeline.

“One thing I wish I knew before my first year as an accounting major would definitely be the recruiting deadlines of accounting firms.” — Eli

Explore your options early.

“I wish I knew more about what public accounting is in general—different niches and what you could do with that degree.” — Muhammad

See Them in Action

When these students aren’t studying, attending club meetings or getting some well-deserved sleep, they’re creating content to help other students navigate the accounting major and grow the pipeline. From study tips and career advice to day-in-the-life videos, they’re sharing a real, unfiltered look at what it’s like to be an accounting student in Indiana.
