Strengthening Indiana’s Workforce
Strengthening talent pipelines requires bold solutions and collaboration. That’s why we partnered in NABA, Inc., (formerly the National Association of Black Accountants) to launch ConnectIN, a joint initiative aiming to strengthen talent pipelines, develop a strong workforce and boost entrepreneurship in Indiana.
Meeting the Needs of Modern Business
In order to address critical talent shortages, ConnectIn is focused on solutions that will drive impact and strengthen the workforce in the fields of accounting, finance, business and emerging technologies, including AI.
The initiative is focused on four key goals:
Boost High School Graduation and College-Going Rates
ConnectIN will implement programs to help high school students graduate and pursue higher education, including guidance on financial aid, dual-enrollment options, and career pathways in accounting.
Increase Hoosiers’ Bachelor’s Degree Attainment
The partnership will support two-year and four-year college students, creating bridges to professional education and encouraging accelerated pathways to degree completion.
Expand Access to Professional Credentials
ConnectIN will provide resources and mentorship to help professionals earn certifications such as CPA, CFA, and others, enabling them to advance in their careers and contribute to the growth of key industries.
Promote Economic Growth and Leadership
By fostering entrepreneurship and opportunities for increased leadership representation, ConnectIN aims to drive economic resilience in Indiana, positioning Hoosiers as key contributors to the state’s economy.
At NABA, we are deeply committed to building pathways for professionals to thrive. This initiative lays the foundation for a stronger in Indiana. Together with INCPAS, we’re investing in a future of innovation and excellence.
Guylaine Saint Juste, President & CEO of NABA, Inc.
For too long, we have struggled to attract talent, which has led to critical pipeline challenges. The ConnectIN program will help amplify solutions with proven track records, fill gaps, and explore new ways to establish pathways to a CPA. A skilled workforce drives innovation, improves decision-making, and contributes to a stronger economy. Everyone wins.
