Whether you’re a recent hire wanting to cultivate leadership skills early or a more experienced staff member seeking the next step in your career advancement — YPLA offers the in-depth assessments, discussions and training to get you where you need or want to be.

 

Who’s Eligible: INCPAS members ages 30 or younger; must be a CPA or pursuing the license

Time Commitment: 40–60 hours (equivalent hours CPE)

Number of Meetings: 3 full-day meetings per year

Location: INCPAS Learning Center or other Indianapolis-area locations

Application & Selection Process

INCPAS will begin accepting applications for the 2025–27 YPLA class starting in April 2025, with a submission deadline of May 31, 2025. The program year begins in September 2025.

Applicants are reviewed by a panel of INCPAS team members and volunteers that will conduct phone interviews before choosing the final participants.


 



Jamar Cobb-Dennard

YPLA Facilitator

Leadership consultant Jamar Cobb-Dennard has facilitated this leadership program since 2018 and consistently receives top marks from participants. He incorporates content to help address issues that are happening in real time, such as how to transition to managing hybrid workforces and set boundaries in a virtual environment.
