Strengthening the CPA's role as an objective expert

According to the AICPA's most recent Trends Report, nationally, total enrollments in accounting programs have stayed constant with the record levels seen in 2014-15 and there has been an increase of new CPA Exam candidates, however the percentage of underrepresented students in these programs is not increasing by much. Additionally, there has been virtually no change in the percentage of underrepresented accounting graduate hires by U.S. CPA Firms since 2012.
